Sitting on the Fence, The Hardest Place to Sit

30/11/2022

By Randall Richards
My son and I were down at the Lake Hawea waterfront today, at the dam, not far from Mountain Spirit, our home and retreat centre here on New Zealand’s South Island. We were fishing for salmon which have a habit of hanging around the dam this time of year in a vain attempt to swim downstream. That’s where the fishing is reportedly good, but we didn’t catch anything this day.

As we were leaving a fellow named Cliff drove up in rental car. He’s from California and, as I tend to do, got to chatting with him. Today is his first day here in New Zealand. As it turns out, he is a principle in a company called Abroad which leads executives and business leaders all over the world, teaching by experience, different ways to think about success and leadership other than the typical profit centered paradigm.

Looking for bass at Lake Hawea’s dam, New Zealand.

They have led trips to Peru, and Bhutan. They like to work with indigenous leaders locally wherever they end up taking their high-end clientele. I mentioned our little retreat centre to him, and also mentioned the domes at the Lake Hawea Campground and The Oasis as alternative retreat centres who could a bigger group such as his. I mentioned a bit about my background as a cultural and mountain guide in Peru, Outward Bound Professional, and the sort of activities we do at Mountain Spirit such as yin yoga, music studio and sweat lodges. He said he does all the hiring for the company, and this is a bit of a recon for future programs. He asked if his business partner and he could pop by Mountain Spirit for a visit this weekend. When he mentioned he plays guitar and sings, I even invited him to pop by our local Free Market at Leaane’s Camphill Coffee as I’d be playing there, and there’s sort of an open mic atmosphere. He could play a song or two if he was so inclined. We sent each other a text with contact details so we could be in touch over the next couple of days.

All was going quite well until he asked if I knew any Maori people in the area. I explained a bit of what, and who I know in the area, and then, he made the comment, “Oh we did have a Maori person on board our company, but he went a bit off the rails. It was very surprising to us, and we had to let him go because of the things he was posting on Faceboook.” When I asked if he could expound, he continued, “He went extreme right-wing on us, and was posting things about the vx and other stuff about conspiracies and government overreach.” Then, there was an uncomfortable silence.

We said our goodbyes after I had given him some suggestions on what to see and do here in the area for his afternoon in Hawea/Wanaka. Then just after he drove off, I happened to check the local Telegram chat channel, and came upon this post by “Man Alive”, whatever that is:

“For men, the hardest place to sit is on the fence.
Hoping, wishing, waiting for something to
change.

Let me let you in on a little secret..

“If you don’t change, nothing else will.”

Many men know this but spend years umming &
ahhring

Living a lukewarm, mediocre existence

When they know deep in their heart that they are
capable of so much more

They just need to get off the fence
They need to come alive again.”

Before reading that, I hadn’t really come up with a plan of action, but I had an inclination. But after reading that quote, I decided I’ll text Cliff and ask him for the Maori’s contact info. He sounds like am interesting fellow. I’ll send that text just after I post this.

Postscript: I had a good look at Abroad‘s website, and the vision as Cliff explained it, seems like a brilliant initiative, and I feel we’d be a good match, in a different world, I’m finding harder to go back to the way things were. I can’t unknow what I’ve learned over the past few years regarding the dangers of vx, the mandates, and how it’s not about health but power and control.
It’s extremely unlikely that this Maori fellow has gone off on some “right-wing tangent”. It’s more likely our new friend is parroting the media’s label of someone not following the MSM narrative. I know many “progressives” who are liberal in ideology, but only see madness in the current woke camp. I, for one, am grateful that the last few years have only strengthened my resolve to see the truth, and make no apologies about standing tall for what I see.

Being mandated out of public places changed our lives, and seeing the truth for what it is, forces the issue. It’s easier now, not sitting on the fence. My hat’s off to Cliff and his work. I would have liked to get involved with Abroad, but not at the expense of my values. Not only would it be a matter of time before he came cross my Facebook posts, but also, I could see this was, most likely, a dead-end. I’m on a different path and not looking back. I hope Cliff gives me that Maori fellow’s contact info. Who knows, maybe our paths have already crossed, at the Wellington protest, or we’re on some group chat. It’s a small world when it comes to truth these days.

Author G Edward Griffin Offers Optimistic View

The wonderful G Edward Griffin, now in his nineties was recently interviewed by Mel K and Mr. Griffin covered a lot of ground. He’s the author of The Creature from Jekyll Island – A Second Look at the Federal Reserve now printed in many languages, and in more than 43 printings.

G Edward Griffin, Author of The Creature from Jekyll Island

About the Interview:
Although Mel K is a bit hard to listen to in some ways, she conducts a great interview, is well versed, and has a great reputation in my opinion. Griffin covers a basic historical catch-up for those not familiar with the Federal Reserve banking system, and his book The Creature from Jekyll Island, then updates the audience about the latest events and the current new world order and attempts to maintain their loosening grip of world domination. Most importantly, Griffin shares that only 1% were part of the planning of the American Revolution, and another 5% or so were those that put the plan into action, then it was an additional minority that actually did the fighting to get out from under British rule. Griffin adds, “we are about at that ratio now, where there are enough people waking up and taking action that those in power may not be there much longer”. More importantly he says we need to unite not despite our differences but in celebration of our diversity. United we stand, divided we fall, says Griffin, quoting that well-known phrase.

About the Book:
^This is the classic exposé of the Fed that has become one of the best-selling books in its category of all time. Where does money come from? Where does it go? Who makes it? The money magician’s secrets are unveiled. Here is a close look at their mirrors and smoke machines, the pulleys, cogs, and wheels that create the grand illusion called money. A boring subject? Just wait. You’ll be hooked in five minutes. It reads like a detective story – which it really is, but it’s all true. This book is about the most blatant scam of history. It’s all here: the cause of wars, boom-bust cycles, inflation, depression, prosperity. Your world view will definitely change. Putting it quite simply, this may be the most important book on world affairs you will ever read. 608 pages.

The 5th Edition includes a no-holds barred analysis of bank bailouts under the Bush and Obama Administrations that are shown to be nothing less than legalized plunder of the American people. Many other updates have been added, including a revision to the list of those who attended the historic meeting at Jekyll Island where the Federal Reserve was created.

An observation about G. Edward Griffin:
I remember an interviewer years ago making an observation then posing a question to Mr. Griffin: “So, Ed, you’ve written a book about a really nasty subject, the control of the money supply by an elite group. And you seem so composed, well balanced and even happy as you sit here. Can you tell me how that is? Griffin’s reply* was: “Look, I decided a long time ago, that I am not the material I write. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, am close to my family and have a spiritual practice. If I don’t make a conscience effort to separate my life from my work, I would have gone over the edge a long time ago.” *(Paraphrased by the author of this post based on memory of the interview”)

About the Author:

“Eyewitness Testimony” 1969 to Present

I come from a state in the US that took freedom rather seriously in the past. Rather than having “Sunny Florida”, or the “Scenic Montana” or “The greatest snow on earth”, we have “Live free or die” on our license plates…See? *[I’m not lying. Here’s my license plate from NH. Which, by the way costs $40 compared to the $600 (rumour has it) charge here in New Zealand for such “vanity plates]

New Hampshire’s license plate means business – You either make it or your don’t. I used to drive around Europe in a van with this NH registered this license plate. People couldn’t get their head around it back then in the ’80’s. Wonder what the reception would be now?

I’ve been a New Zealander now, for a while, complete with citizenship, but this Yankee still can’t make a good cup of tea. Must be because my clan in New England threw those British crates of tea over the side into Boston harbor to protest the Tea Tax

The title of this is Eyewitness Testimony is Gold and starts in 1969 when I was 11 ys old. I promise I’ll finish in 7 min

My Uncle Curt was a 4-star general in the Army’s Corp of Engineers. He was a career man, graduated top of his class at Westpoint, and was in WWII, N Korea, and served as an assistant to the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Pentagon.  His chopper was shot down in the Vietnam War. He survived to tell about it,  and I remember him using a portion of the helicopter blade as a coffeetable.

He, like others in the top brass, were wary of the emerging NWO. At family Fourth-of-July picnics, he would warn us of the newly formed Council on Foreign Relations, and Trilateral  Commission.  Keep in mind this is the late ‘60s.
I remember wondering if he was a bit nuts.  Over the years, I would pop by his house and we’d discuss the latest conspiracies from his perspective. It was deep.

I don’t know if he influenced me on this, but I became a local reporter in my early teens, and in my late teens became an apprentice as a “Stringer” for United Press International as a photojournalist.
New Hampshire was the first primary state, so all the presidential candidates would file through. I was trained, by Suki Coughlin on how to make my subjects comfortable from behind the lens, and get in there for the newsworthy shot, which we’d later put up on “The Wire’ sort of a precursor to the fax machine.

So here I was, living in two worlds, one, of my Uncle’s reports, and the other, mainstream media on the national level. It led me to call up the local WMUR-TV station and ask the manager. “Hey, why don’t you cover that George Bush is in the Tri-lateral commission or Council on Foreign relations?” His reply was, “Randall, we’d love to, and I agree it should be covered, but the FCC would yank our license so fast, “the following morning” if we covered that on the nightly news.” were his exact words.
I made more phone calls, learning the Federal Reserve wasn’t really Federal, and that the IRS’s tax is based on “voluntary compliance”.

Over the years, I did the “long view research approach”. Finding and reading The Money Trust, by Rep Charles Lindbergh Sr. (his son was the famous pilot), None Dare call it conspiracy, by Gary Allen, and Creature from Jekyll Island, by Edward G. Griffin.

A side note about Griffin – When asked in a recent interview, “How do you keep so well centered? You seem at peace and well composed, after writing a such book based on nasty stuff. “
I decided a long time ago,” replied Griffin, “that I am not the material I’ve written. I have my family life, my spiritual practice and I separate the two.”

I also listened to Dave VonKleist, Alex Jones, and the late William Cooper (author of Behold a Pale Horse) and personally got to know Ed Brown a constitutional ranger also in Sullivan County New Hampshire. All of them would throw their hands up in the air, and basically say “Wake the Hell up!”

Ed, in his offensive way said to me once, before they took him away, locked him up and threw away the key said, “It’s all very good you’re interested in this conspiracy stuff, but what are you actually doing about it?” I took offence and was a bit speechless. In retrospect though, these guys, and a bit like our host here tonight, may not have been gruff enough! There’s a place for that. It’s not my style, but it needs to be said.
We’re in a full infowar.

It used to be funny saying:
“If you’re not on the fringe you’re taking up room.” And…
“It’s a free country as long as you do what they tell you.
It’s not so funny now, but I do keep my sense of humour. Because you can’t make this stuff up!
I used to call my research “a hobby”,  “a sideline”. I would treat any conspiracy as “the 3rd rail” on my blog I’ve had for 14 years. I wouldn’t touch it.

Now,  I don’t care what people think.
Maybe it took the mandates, or the protest in Wellington.

Fast forward to the South Island Convoy.
We never planned to go all the way to Wellington. But after seeing those people in Ashburton, so many people on the sides of the road, the ChCh overpasses, and rolling into that paddock turned campground in ChCh, it was like Woodstock without the drugs. People hugging each other, food caravans and porta-loos popping up in the middle of a field.

Then we got the ferry to Wellington with my family, with our “antigen tests”. The lady behind the counter in Picton, looked at us, from under her glasses looked at our “tests” on the phone, back at us. The uncomfortable pause, and finally, “You can go on the boat now…” I felt like “Papers Please.”

Day 1 Wellington, I knew I had to dust off my reporting skills, (although I had been regularly doing my blog, and reporting what I’d been seeing on the South Island, I clearly saw this was going to be historic and needed to be covered) I briefly had the absurd thought to call UPI again and see if they needed me to cover this for them Then I realized the absurdity of idea – They’d only want me to cover it from the globalist point of view!

So, I decided to start a Telegram channel and get back in the saddle of breaking news coverage. Instead of a slew of cameras around my neck, I had my cell phone, lots of SD cards and battery packs. I interviewed lots of people. I must have interviewed the wrong people, I must have been over the target. Because my Telegram acct got data wiped, and my phone was remotely data locked. With effort I was able to retrieve my interviews, but it took some clever I.T. work here in Wanaka to get it back. I’m still in the process of rebuilding my own media empire. That’s a dad joke by the way.

So why is Eyewitness testimony  Gold?
Because at times, there were up to 25K people (on weekends) at Wellington, and that’s not counting the ebb and flow of those coming and going. They, all saw one thing, and then immediately saw the controlled media say another. A lot of it captured by phones,

The good news? All those people went home and told family and friends what they saw. NZ is a small enough country that once you get Kiwi’s attention, get them riled up, news travels fast. It’s not like the states.
So I’m very optimistic.
We can’t beat the media at their own game. But we can do is an end run around them.

Of that I’m sure. The truth will come out.

There are creative way’s like Warrick Stubb’s little handout cards, and collaboration, sharing stories. As I speak other freedom reporters are collecting stories and eye witness testimonies, which are gold. Thanks for listening, and…
Keep up the good work

What It’s Like Being Censored

12/09/2020

JP Sears has been a family favorite for a few years now. My wife first turned me onto him a few years ago with his classic video, “How to be Ultra Spiritual” and his spoof on how to irritate people by being vegan. If you haven’t seen his work, check out his website and his Youtube channel, while it’s still is there.

I attended an Eckhart Tolle retreat in Australia a couple of years ago, and Mr. Tolle had a wonderful “Evening of Spiritual Entertainment” multimedia presentation. Sears’ post about Tolle was included in the evening. I wrote to Sears, letting him know Tolle thought highly enough of his video to include it in his presentation. Sears was thrilled.

JP has really stepped up to the plate with this recent post. He’s effective not only because he has done his homework, is intelligent and gets the point across, but does it through humor. He’s recently been censored on Youtube and he didn’t take to it lightly.

JP Sears calls it like he sees it about censorship and free speech, and our rights.

It’s time for us all to step up our game, and protect our inalienable rights of free speech. I’ve considered my acquaintance with an alternative narrative, introduced to be me by my uncle in the late ’60’s, as a hobby. I’ve certainly looked into the alternative press, read history books, and personally interviewed “radicals” and made my own phone calls. Those interviews and phone calls were an eye opener, which confirmed my uncle’s views and insights. More in him in another post. Now it can no longer be considered a hobby. Now it is time to speak up, at age 62, I have a 9 year old, and I want him to know I also spoke up in the year 2020. I have accumlated too much information over the years not to speak up. If you have inside info, I suggest you do the same. Thanks JP for this inspiration. This blog has formally been restricted to Mountain Spirit’s wide mission statement, but in light of the recent events, it’s clear this subject falls under our mission to help reconnect to others, ones self, and nature by further the cause of freedom. So I hope you “enjoy” upcoming posts about my personal history, and knowledge of the NWO. I’ll back it up with personal experiences, and fact. I feel it’s my duty to forge ahead with what I have known for over 45+ years.
More to follow on this subject.
