By Randall Richards I’m from a state in the US which has “Live Free or Die” as the state motto on the license plate. When I legally transferred registration of a van I’d purchased in The Netherlands to New Hampshire, I still drove that van throughout the European Alpine countries, ski touring, climbing, and playing music. The talk on the street was this formation a new European Union currency. Some of the locals were jittery, for good reason. So complete with the US license plates I’d drive into small villages and cities alike. I raised a few eyebrows, and almost got in a few problems because of the reactions I received with the motto displayed on the back of the van.
Since those days, until today, I’ve felt that New Hampshire residents probably don’t really live by that motto, much less understand it. Today this story surfaced of a New Hampshire man standing by his right to free speech. The interaction is being praised as a model for how citizens can assert their rights when confronted by federal agents, especially in cases of potential entrapment. Here’s the the story:

Intel agency foot soldiers regret approaching man over First Amendment-protected activity. A man filmed two U.S. federal agents as they approached him to ask about posts he’d made on social media, leading to them being publicly shamed for targeting a First Amendment-protected activity.
In a viral video, X user Jeremy Kauffman filmed as two plain-clothes agents approached his front porch requesting he not film them, as the citizen asked for their full names while notifying them he intended to post the interaction online.
“The FBI visited my house today for free speech acts they knew were not crimes. You can see the shame on their faces. This is the Democratic regime manifest.”

Kaufman went on to speculate the agents’ yearly average salary was likely over $100K, before telling them it was a waste of taxpayer money. “Talking about burning a couple hundred dollars an hour just here, let alone all the time you guys are spending…to investigate something that you know is not against the law, right?” the man told the agents, who repeatedly requested the man stop filming them.
After appearing thoroughly embarrassed, the agents eventually departed while the man chided them, saying, “You know Americans that believe in the Constitution think you’re laughable. You go home and you think about what you did today. Go home and think about it. You coward.” It’s unclear what social media post prompted the visit.| The interaction is being praised as a model for how citizens can assert their rights when confronted by federal agents, especially in cases of potential entrapment. I started this blog some 18 years ago with the broad stroke of travel advice, mountain guiding and expedition experiences and learnings from other cultures. Now, as I travel in Vietnam, I’m more interested in the people, plus the interesting discussions or tidbits I’m learning in light of the current state of global affairs. What seemed normal is no longer. What was once 2+2=4 is now an upside-down world in our national and local governments, schools and communities. I heard a saying the other day, “The difference between a conspiracy theory and the truth is six months”, except the time has shortened to 6 days”. that person further explained that those in power no longer need to stand behind their lies for very long. They get what they want out of the situation, then fess up and tell the truth later, (buried on page 12) then move on to the next deception, leaving the public bewildered.
My family and I happened to go to a well-known “Bun Cha” street food restaurant in Hanoi recently, and found a poster of Obama and Anthony Bourdain sitting at one of the tables.
My guess is Bourdain was showing Obama around some of the sweetspots in Vietnam’s capital.
“Don’t step ouf of line, mate”,The caption, “Suat an Obama” reads, “Obama dines”
But allow me some conjecture: I remember hearing rumours that Bourdain was “suicided” and had told close friends he wasn’t suicidal, and that “if anything happens to me, I didn’t take my own life”. I’d have to do some digging to dredge up what I had seen. Of course a quick look on search engines only** brought up “OFM” (Old Fashioned Media) headlines the likes of “The Dark Final Texts”, and “Tragic Final Moments”, by the likes of the Huff Post and NYT. Do I trust those sources? Not anymore. In fact, I’ve got my BS meter tuned to “high” lately.
While eating at the restaurant, and contemplating the large poster of the the two sitting facing each other, I couldn’t help but wonder if Obama was telling Bourdain to “Stay in line, or else”. I had read that Bourdain was questioning “the official narrative” of the globalist agenda and was planning on going public with his opinion.
But then again, maybe it was just a quiet dinner in Vietnam’s capital.

I saw this sticker in a Melbourne bathroom yesterday, and felt oblidged to enlighten people who might be standing at the urinal sending them to Jim Breuer’s “Somebody Had to Say it“. He covers social distancing quite well in his standup.
I thought I’d take the opportunity to share the feedback form I just completed for the Aspiring Conversation’s “Truth and Lies” event last 6th of April here in Wanaka, NZ. The only thing I screwed up, that I can see, is I failed to capture the screenshot of questions 9 and 10 on this feedback form. So I recreated the that screen shot the best I could, otherwise it’s all from their SurveyMonkey form.
The once small town of Wanaka, NZ has a new 5g tower today. Although it’s not been advertised, they rolled out 5G throughout the South Island a few years ago. Nevertheless it was a shock to see the new health-corroding tower being erected smack in front of a popular cafe, corner store, restaurant and pub complex
When I approached the workers asking them if it was indeed 5G technology, they confirmed it was. I then queried, “Do you guys know that these towers create health problems?” Their response was, “Hey mate, we’re just doing our job. It’s not our decision”. Does that sound familiar? What era comes to mind?
This tower is massive, with tons of technology aboard. There also happens to be additional technology installed just down the road, on street lights: real-time CCTV, and heat sensoring monitors in the name of safety (fire). It sure feels good to be safe, doesn’t it?
Hi Tech for your safety and convenience, but not your health.The nearby cafe will certainly have “roasted” coffee from now on.
This sort of construction, right in the midst of a highly populated and active area of town is completely diabolical. I’ll admit I’m not informed on the decision making process on how these things come to be, but it’s madness. There are crazies at the helm of a ship of fools. Just don’t eat the food at Albert Town anymore, it will be “over-cooked”.

The truth will come out to everyone in time. It takes guts to put your head above the parapet in the early days. But then, as you probably agree, what other choice do you have?“
This list, a result of of an OIA request, is a partial list of clinics, medical centres and pharmacies nationwide in New Zealand who were paid out for their services. Since I live in Otago on the New Zealand’s South Island, I’ve highlighted some, but not all of the more prominent centres, and their payouts for administering the injection. It looks like it paid very well.
